Our People

Zabantu, based in Cape Town, is driven by people with passion to deliver on measurable results. The people that lead this drive are Vuyo Nkwali and Nanguku Shindi who bring different but complementary skills and experiences and this combination brings real value to clients. Vuyo is an entrepreneur who brings a diverse experience that ranges from construction and engineering project management, service industries, global commodity trading and entrepreneurial venture management and has worked as a general manager of a recruitment firm responsible for managing recruitment consultants, executive recruitment, client relations as well as business development. This background and Vuyo’s passion for business and financial analysis enables him to have insight to economic and industry trends and this strength will be invaluable to both Zabantu and its clients.

Nanguku on the other hand has worked in a power utility company responsible for IT security and information systems management and has also worked in project environment and administration. She has a can-do attitude and is also a natural trader and over the years has sharpened her negotiating ability and sales skills. Above all this she has empathy that she brings to the company and that will always help to keep the company and people grounded and responsive to the environment and the challenges facing our people. As a woman and a mother in the corporate jungle, she also understands the challenges that career women face and this insight enables Zabantu to be a humane firm that puts people before profit.
